Pop star and stage sensation Shayne Ward has plenty to celebrate this month as not only is he planning a return to the music studio, he has also just got engaged to his girlfriend of 9 years, Faye McKeever.
The singer rose to fame after winning the second series of The X Factor back in 2005, and although the huge talent show has left him behind, Shayne has got a lot of successes under his belt thanks to his own hard work.
He recently finished his stint as Stacee Jaxx in the West End musical sensation Rock of Ages, and in that period of time off he was due to celebrate his 9 year anniversary with Faye.
He chose that exact day to propose to his girlfriend, opting for the setting of London’s OXO Tower, overlooking the River Thames, as his proposal spot.
Both Shayne and Faye have since taken to Twitter to announce their exciting engagement, and no doubt both are looking forward to starting on the journey of marriage together.
