The number three is a significant number in the tarot deck traditionally used during an online tarot reading, but the number two also crops up pretty frequently. Six cards in the tarot deck involve the number two; here is a little bit of useful information about these.
First, it is good to know what significance the number two has. Three different themes are indicated by the number two: patience can be a good and bad thing, harmony can open your mind to previously unconsidered opportunities, and extremes in behaviour are often part of the process of self-discovery. Another useful thing to know is that if multiple twos are drawn, these themes should be of immediate concern to you.
The High Priestess and the Hanged Man are the cards that feature the number two in the Major Arcana, the first of these being the most auspicious card to be linked to the number two. The Two of Wands, the Two of Cups, the Two of Swords and the Pentacles are the cards within the Minor Arcana which have links to the number two. A tarot reader will know what these mean in-depth, but it should always be remembered that any messages gleaned from the deck should be considered carefully.
