It’s been announced that Kate Winslet is expecting a child. This little bundle of joy will be her third, but it’s the first with Ned Rocknroll, her husband of six months.
The new arrival will join Mia, 12, and Joe, 9. Mia is the daughter of Jim Threapleton and Joe the son of Sam Mendes, both ex-husbands of Kate.
The couple are said to be delighted by the news and the baby is expected later this year.
Kate has said that becoming a mother has given her an “abiding inner strength” and that she has always wanted to raise her children to be respectful and grateful for what they have.
